John Crawford Tapped As Vice President Of Operations For Roy’s Restaurants

PLANO, TEXAS – 24 Oct, 2017 – In an announcement made today, John Crawford has been named vice president of operations for Plano-based Roy’s Restaurants.  In his new role Crawford will oversee all aspects of Roy’s day-to-day business including operations, culinary and marketing. 

Crawford, who resides in Central Florida, brings more than 30 years of diverse industry experience to Roy’s including his most recent position as vice president of franchise operations and development for Ruth’s Chris Steak House.  In this role he was responsible for overseeing more than 30 franchise groups and 80 restaurants in the US, Aruba, Asia, Canada, Dubai, and Mexico, including direct responsibility for twelve company-owned restaurants.  During his tenure with Ruth’s Chris, Crawford built collaborative relationships within the franchise community, developed dynamic teams that improved processes and systems that were instrumental in making improvements in all areas of the business and his leadership contributed to the growth of the brand over the past nine years.

Prior to joining Ruth’s Chris, Crawford spent 20 years with Metromedia Restaurant Group in various executive leadership positions supporting both company and franchise operations, including vice president of worldwide franchise operations for Bennigan’s.
