New Book reveals how to stop living the every day roller coaster

Nathan Hickman is proof that you can learn to control your emotions no matter the situation. Through the midnight reflections of his late brother’s life, he discovered the three principles outlined in his book: Take Time To-Be: How learning to live in the moment allowed my brother to live an imperfect life, perfectly. It changed his life so significantly that he wants to share his experience with you.

Nathan was diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression, and Bi-Polar Disorder in 1996. In his early ’20s, life was hard enough as a young adult without these challenges.

At the end of 2012, he reached a critically low part of his life. Paralyzed with anxiety, he struggled to get through each day. Adding to the complexity of his mental illness, his only brother died a little over a year later. His brother had to learn to walk four times during his life. Nathan was mad. He thought, “He didn’t deserve this life of hardship and pain.”

Nearly “chained” to his bed, Nathan couldn’t read, watch TV or listen to music. Lost for days in the silence and loneliness of his thoughts, he began to write a journal. As he wrote about his life and his brother’s life, a change occurred. He started to see his brother’s life and then his life through a lens of gratitude. Nathan focused on what was right and not what was wrong. He began living in the moment more often.

Nathan is obsessed with quality of life, both his and yours. As an entrepreneur, author, and speaker, where his passions are all blended, Nathan is now living his best life. It’s not perfect, and he struggles regularly. Still, he accepts life’s challenges and chooses to focus on what he does have and what he can do, which allows him to live an imperfect life, perfectly.

Nathan desperately wants to help you stop the “Next Day” roller coaster you may be riding and teach you how to gain resilience and begin enjoying life’s little moments more often.
